Terms of use
Last updated: August 18, 2026
These terms govern access to and use of FairNest. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1. Service
FairNest helps households see and better share domestic and mental load: diagnostic, planning, weekly follow-up, reports, and light gamification (seeds / virtual shop).
FairNest is not medical, legal or couples-therapy advice. Insights are indicative.
2. Accounts
Provide accurate information and keep credentials confidential.
You are responsible for activity on your account. Co-members of a household must use the service respectfully.
3. User content
You own the content you enter. You grant us a limited license to host and display it to household members to run the service.
Illegal, defamatory or infringing content is prohibited.
4. Seeds and shop
“Seeds” and rewards are virtual currency with no real-money value. They are not refundable, cash-convertible, or transferable outside the household.
We may change catalog, costs or shop rules for product balance.
4bis. FairNest Plus subscription
Some features (mid-week week coach, detailed reports) require the FairNest Plus household subscription, billed monthly and auto-renewed.
On the website, FairNest Plus is billed via Stripe. In the iOS app, it is billed through the App Store (StoreKit) and Apple’s Standard EULA applies:
https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
The subscription covers all household members. On the web, manage or cancel from Profile (Stripe Customer Portal). On iOS, manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. After cancellation, paid access remains until the end of the period already paid.
5. Availability
We aim for reasonable availability without a service-level guarantee. Maintenance and incidents may occur.
6. Suspension
You may stop using the service and request account deletion via support.
We may suspend or close accounts for terms violations, security risk, or abuse.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FairNest is not liable for indirect damages or decisions based solely on in-app indicators.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing amicable resolution, French courts have jurisdiction.
